Introduction Text My journey with Spark People has been long...I got to my goal weight back in 2010 and was able to maintain it for a year. Unfortunately I have been injury ridden since 2011. First a knee injury and now since January 2014 a chronic back injury which has been very limiting. In the process I have gained back the weight and then some :( My focus right now is to stay positive, be committed to taking care of my back, make changes in my life to reduce stress and emotional eating, and take control of my health. It has been a hard journey, but I know I can be successful again! I dream often of running again and am hopeful that I will be running again by fall 2014.

My goals are to heal my back injury by doing strengthening exercises consistently, walking, doing the elliptical, and riding my bike. Hopefully I will be able to start running again in the next 3 months.

30 minutes of cardio (walking, biking, elliptical) 5 days a week, back exercises and stretching 7 days a week. I hope to add strength training back at the gym in the next 2 months but we will see!

I live in Oregon and have been married for a little over five years to my wonderful husband! I started running in December 2009 ran my first half-marathon on 5/2/2010!
