Fitness Minutes: 124,710

My Goals:
To do better this Winter 5% Challenge. I would like to lose 8 pounds this challenge and so far it looks like it might be a challenge.


My Program:
Tracking is the key! Also working on more strength training this time around. I am averaging 6-7000 steps, any more and my old hips revolt!
I also found a program online that one of my team mates suggest. Pahla B Fitness. So I am doing that and now mixing in some Leslie Sansone walks. It is amazing what having internet can do for finding things you didn't know existed.



Personal Information:
I have been on SparkPeople since 2006 and will always be a Firecracker although I am a Phoenix too. I am originally from Baltimore, MD and now back again after spending about 15 years in WV. My 2 children are grown, My daughter lives about 30 minutes away now and my son is in Texas. Have not been able to be with family because of the virus, just waiting for this to pass as all things do.

It has been about 16 month since my husband died from a stroke. He ate healthy, exercised and was very active around our rural home plus he was 7 years younger than me. I've adjusted well I guess but sure do miss him.


Other Information:
I use Lose It to track my food but I also have saved a lot of recipes here. I have had a Fitbit since 2010. I love Walk It Out on my Wii, still enjoy looking for the rainbow! Use to enjoy camping and fishing with my husband but have not had the time lately since he passed away. I am sure he is reeling in those trout in Heaven. Sold the Rpod, but kept the fishing rods!

    It is the percentage of Total carb. I am pretty sure. It is the Pie graph on Spark after you fill in everything through the day. Under Daily Nutrition tab at the bottom of your food log.

    Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.

    On the WW plan, I was on the blue plan when I lost the weight (25 lbs) and was under goal Then I switched to purple. However since the pandemic hit I have not really been following it too well and have gained 12 lbs back. I do still walk for 60 minutes every day. I hope to get back to working on it seriously very soon like maybe Monday.
