    I recommend the C25K program!

    On my first week, I was so scared to run a minute at a time, but yesterday after 5 weeks I ran 20 minutes straight!

    Motivation is a tricky one for me -- some days I feel it, and others not so much! To get myself psyched for a tough workout, I've been playing some music to get me going -- right now it's the Girl Hold My Earrings playlist on Songza. I'm also being careful to only buy groceries that are good for me and making it easy to have healthier snacks and meals.

    And worse comes to worse, I don't beat myself up if I have something. Nothing is forbidden because this is a lifestyle shift, not a diet or drastic changes. I still have ice cream and pizza in the fridge, just changed the portion sizes and kinds (and how often I eat it).

    how about you? what is your motivation?
