    Thanks for the support and useful suggestions. I keep flirting with the McDougall Diet, but feel overwhelmed by some of the things it excludes. I've decided to take a modified stance, still use some of the processed vegan foods, and instead of a healthy dollop of oil in my pan, I measure a teaspoon out. Baby steps. Thanks again.

I am already a good way there to eating that way based on changes I have made in my diet in the last several months, but I have felt like I could still make improvements in my diet.
