I have not been able to get but a few pounds under my *pre-pregnancy* weight for baby #2. She's now 4! We'll see. I've tried this so many times and I figure there is one thing I've not yet tried, so here I go- focusing on strength work and building my muscles and metabolism. Otherwise- I'm calling it *done* and putting a period at the end of trying to lose a little weight. Either I do this or I truly make peace and move onto more important things.

I'm not trying to be voted up to a Motivation Member again. I am not trying to lead teams. I am not trying to lead the rally cry. I am just trying to fight the fight from an angle I've not taken since I was in my teens. If I lose the weight- Awesome! If I don't then it's time to let go and let God and put that energy into being a better wife, mother and person.

My Goals:
Just to lose 1-2 jean sizes. I have a closet of clothing that I really enjoy but can't wear it without hurting myself.

My Program:
I am already a very active person. My fitbit registers 8-10k on a light/sick day and 15-18k+ on a *high day* with 11-13k being my daily average WITHOUT exercise. I love gardening and about to turn a 5 Acre former corn field into a gardener's paradise and fruit orchard. I plan on adding strength work as I get plenty of cardio taking care of house and family.

Personal Information:
A Wanna-be Farm Gal living on the rolling hills of the upper midwest. We are a homeschooling family with two very active children. I can't sit still for long and love being outside playing with dirt and plants. I can literally watch them grow all.Day. Long. Hauling 100s of pounds of manure, hefting wheelborrows, tiling and weeding by hand, staking, trellising squashes, rows of sunflowers, and playing with bees are what makes my heart skip a beat. Maybe add some garden chickens and a couple of heritage breed cows in the future and I'd be quite happy. I'm a hard worker and I find great reward in working each till until my feet are sore and my body is fatigued. I have chronic illnesses and autoimmune disorders but so long as I don't get a *flare*, I can usually ignore my symptoms. I have to- otherwise nothing would get done!

Other Information:
I fight between not caring about what my jean size is and just enjoying all that life brings and battling those feeling when I see my favorite jeans and tops collecting dust. I could get ride of them and solve part of the problem but there would most likely always be that part of me that would have wondered what would have happened if I just did strength work 2-3x per week. Maybe that's the golden ticket. Maybe it's not. Maybe my FMS and CFS really have slowed my metabolism like it does to so many others. But maybe there is something I can do to combat it? That's why I am here... One. Last. Time.
