**Hello fellow Sparkers! I have officially been MIA for almost 2 years to the day (based on my last weigh-in.) In these last two years, I gave birth to the most amazing little boy ever, and have married the love of my life. We are now trying to conceive baby #2, and it's time we learn to bring up a healthy family.

My husband doesn't have as far to go as I do, at least not where numbers are concerned, but he is a diabetic and we want to work together on improving our health. I wish to learn how to cook appropriately for a diabetic lifestyle, and we want to be more active! As parents to a toddler, I'm sure you know we find ourselves low on energy at the end of the day and getting up to exercise will surely be a challenge. BUT WE CAN DO IT!

To keep as a reminder of where my journey began:

I feel like being a 300 lb girl is taking away from my experience of being a 24 year old girl. I don't even know who I am, mainly because I know I'd be someone different if I were thin.

It's not hard to decide "today is my last day to be fat" but actually making that your last day to be fat is one of the most difficult things ever.

For as long as I can remember I've been choosing random days, starts of months, starts of years, Sundays...to say "today is my last day of being fat"

Well I'm not saying that anymore.

From now on, I'll be saying "Today is my first day of being thin."

I'm so tired of trying and failing. I'm not going to TRY anymore, I'm just going to DO. Forget being fat, it's holding me back. I've got 0 confidence and I'm sick of it.

Fitness Minutes: 2,384

My Goals:
I'm starting with a goal that's less than half of my ultimate goal...I don't want to overwhelm myself! I can't get instant results and I know I'll just get discouraged if I set the huge goal all at once. Baby steps :)


My Program:
-exercise as often as i can whether it be walking, wii games, exercise videos, etc.
- learn to eat/cook healthier!
-watch the portions

not a strict "program" i know, but it's something.



Personal Information:
Small town New England girl, here. Not exactly sure what I'm doing with my life other than being a loving wife and mother. I currently work as a para-educator in kindergarten and the kids are a hoot! My husband and I are on a path to a healthier lifestyle :)
