I just started to get back into running a few weeks ago, because I have a 1/2 marathon to train for in Feb. Plus in November I have decide to make my first attempt to run a marathon 2010, so I've some training to do next year. Plus, the marathon will help me get into shape for my wedding in 2011!!!

1/2 marathon Philly 11/23/08 3:21:45
1/2 marathon Gainesville 02/22/09 3:08:00
15k River Run 03/14/09 2:08:53
15k Florida 01/23/10 2:00:03

I know it sounds nuts, because people train for years to qualify for it, but I want to qualify for the Boston Marathon someday. And I want to see this "Your place in history is almost secure."
-Adidas sign at mile 23 of the Boston Marathon

My favor quote from Bob Schwartz’s “I Run, Therefore I Am —– Nuts!” “Why we carbo load, fartlek train, hit the wall … and love every minute of it.”

My Goals:
To loose weight and fit into my capris that I use to wear. To finish my marathon in Nov. It will feel great to cross that finish line in Philly! Hopefully it will not be 23 degrees with a wind chill of 16 again.

The biggest goal I have is to see this sign on the road "You are no longer a runner, YOU are a marathoner."
-Seen at Mile 25 of the San Antonio marathon

My Program:
To finish my 1/2 marathon under 3 hrs, then to run until 16 weeks tell the race and then start training.

Personal Information:
Quote from Barney Stinson "Talking about how easy it is to run a marathon Step 1: You start running. There is no Step 2." This is what I will be thinking about.

Other Information:
I want to hit that wall full force and bust right through it.

"You can throw in the towel or you can use it to wipe the sweat off of your face."-from Gatorade

"There's beer at the finish line."

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Running with proper nutrition..you'll definitely loss all the weight you want!

I lost 30 pounds from January to June the year i got married. Anyone can do it. I followed the abs diet (it's flexible and easy) and worked out every day. There's a pic on my page.
