As I work through some of my issues about myself, my life, my journey, I find more and more about why I am who I am and that the choices I make are all for a reason. I used to feel like a victim of my many circumstances, but I find that when I give power over to that, I fall deeper and deeper into unhappiness. My life is my own and I refuse to give away my strength because of my past.

Fitness Minutes: 2,277

My Goals:
I want to feel healthy. I don't want my weight to set limits on my life anymore. I want to lose 100 pounds. Can it be done? I think so!

My Program:
I have been going to the gym on average 5 days a week. I am trying new things so that I don't get bored. I adore yoga and am trying to get back into the routine of daily practice. I plan to keep this sparkpage current and active daily to help me find my trigger for eating, to help me see my progress and get the much needed support for my weightloss goals.

Personal Information:
I have a gorgeous little girl who is my motivation for most of what I do on this earth. I was a stay-at-home-mom for the first 6 years of her life and wouldn't trade that time for all the money in the world. I work at a great Architecture firm in San Antonio with some of the most wonderful people I've ever met. I can honestly say I enjoy going to work (on most days!).

    With the days getting shorter, and the snow starting to fly (at least around here it is), it is getting harder and harder to find motivation to keep exercising. I do most of my fitness outdoors - running. I am also finding I do not want to drink as much water in this colder weather.
    Despite this, I am determined to continue on my journey.
    What are you doing to overcome your barriers to fitness? How are you keeping yourself motivated during this holiday season?

    Today is Day 2 of successes for me. I am focused. I am on track. I want to push myself towards my goal. No more waiting for it to come to me.

    I have eaten clean both days. I have gotten out and burned calories each day.

    Tomorrow is a fresh start for me. I need to decide if I am going to push myself to day 3, or if I am going to sit back on my laurels and wait for success to come to me.

    I know what I am going to try to decide tomorrow. What about you? What are you going to decide to do today? Wait for success, or go out and chase it down?

    What are you going to do today to reach your goals? Today is going to pass you by no matter what. You have a choice. Are you going to take advantage of it, or just let it go by and get nothing back from it?

    Personally, I am going to burn at least 500 extra calories today, eat clean, and drink my water. Those are my small steps today to reach my goals tomorrow.
