Hi, My name is Nikki and I am so thrilled to have found Spark OR Spark found me. I joined Sparkpeople but I was not very active with it. I, like many other's was overweight,out of shape and miserable. I can remember bending over to tie my shoes and grunting because my belly was so tight and in the way. I was so tired of being FAT. When I weighed myself and the scale read 201.4 I was in shock and disgusted that I had let myself go like that. After reading an inspiring Sparkpage that spoke to me. I made my mind up and I was going to change. I just could not accept this and what kinda role model was I for my children anyway!?!?!? Not to long after this I joined the BLC17 then the BLC18. This has changed so much for me. I have met the most supportive and amazing people. I have lost 26.8 pounds since then. I still struggle somedays but I won't give up on myself. I am taking this journey one day at a time. I WILL get to my goal weight. I WILL be healthy. I WILL get fit!! Because I CAN and I WILL.... :) 3/4/12.

I have slacked A LOT and have gained around 10 pounds from my lowest. I have tried to do this all on my own with all the information that I previously learned here on Spark BUT I have realized that I need Spark daily to keep myself motivated, accountable and learning! I have to buckle down and do this .... 12/23/12

My Goals:

Completed my 1st 5K on 10-8-11.
Completed my 2nd 5K on 10-12-12

Drink 100oz of water daily!!

Learn to eat more protein and less carbs.

My Program:
I am following the WW ~ PointsPlus Plan ~

I drink lots and lots of water and I have noticed this is really helping me.

Personal Information:
I am 33 years old. I have 3 awesome boys ages 17 ,15 and 11. My boys keep me very busy. I love spending time with them but wish My goal is to be more active and adventurous with them without being to out of breath or to tired.
