there are lots and lots of sites that give tips on hula hooping - Hynotica is a good one. Here's a link to a basic benefits and workout thing which I found by googling. It's worth going on YouTube and searching for hula hooping. There is also a great team on Spark People. It's counted as a cardio exercise on the Spark fitness tracker. The main benefits of basic hooping (which is all I do) are intestinal health, core strength, and flexibility in hips and back.
