Here's to a healthier 2011. I need to get the scale moving downwards as well. Maintained my weight through the last year but need to lose. Good luck to you.

I work in postpartum and newborn nursery and I love my job I work two 12 hour shifts a week. I was in school to get my BSN but had to take academic leave since my mother in law and my father are having health issues. I did take tow general ed classes this semester that I will need to graduate then when I go back it will only be nursing classes. I may wait for a few years to go back, it really takes a lot of time away from my husband and kids.
Thanks for adding my as a friend, I did the same with you. Maybe together we can motivate each other to get the pants to fit better emoticon

You are me! I have to pinch myself that I weigh this amount again. I get on the scale every couple days in the a.m. only before I eat to make sure I'm still hanging in there. Seriously, I called my weight "Happy Fat" because I got remarried and was content for the first time in my life. My husband made me feel beautiful fat or thin and so I just ignored the fact that I was getting FAT! I felt beautiful and loved, but my clothes were tight and I wasn't liking the way I looked in them. You can do this! Count your calories by tracking. It's a pain in the butt, but it works. If you only eat a doughnut, a chocolate Santa, and hot cocoa but stay under the calories, you'll lose weight. You may feel like poop, but if it works to get you started...do what it takes. Just stay in your range. I'll be your buddy and support you if you want. Write me on my page any time!

Hello. Somehow I ended up on your SparkPage. I used to be a chocoholic too. My husband and I made a pact not to eat sweets Monday through Friday late afternoon. It was really hard at first! I am a teacher and teachers lounges are goodie havens. I'm not going to lie...I didn't lose a ton of weight even with that...maybe 5 lbs. I lost weight by logging my calories on SPeople. I was eating WAY too many a day. I was blissfully blind to how fattening food can be in general. I lost about 20 lbs since last Dec.
