So its always been my dream to be in the Military or to be a police officer. That is my new driving force. I am 32 and I am so excited that the Navy has programs that allow to join before turning 35....the only thing standing in my way is THE FAT.....arrrrrrghhh, but after doing my research tonight I have more fire now. I really have to change so many things, I have so many bad habits. I need to have a better sleep schedule, better study habits, better prayer habits (really this should be number 1), better Parenting, better exercise and eating habits. I am starting over today right now. Watch this space this time I really mean it.

Member Since: 12/18/2007 wow, I had no idea!! Since then I have lost 35 lbs and gained back 50 lbs. I have been maintaining at 265 lbs. I have been a member for 3 and a 1/2 years wow. Not cool. Time to put up and shut up. I am so grateful for all my spark friends, who have been so inspirational to me. It is time to put my money where my mouth is. Time to stop talking and start doing. I have done it before, now I need to do it and maintain it.

With God in my corner and my awesome family, and spark friends, I got this. Watch this space.

    You desire to be Navy ready by the summer, well you can still do it. Really, you can, believe it and you can achieve it.

    We all battle with the lack of motivation, I do, almost every day. One trick that I use and those that I coach use is this:

    Keep your before picture with you, as well as the picture of your sister with you. When the desire to stray from your diet plan comes around or you start make a list of excuses why you can't workout, take those pictures out and look at them for 30 seconds. Then decide what to do.

    You will be surprised how well this works, but you have to do it. Also, thinking about the pictures isn't good enough, you need to physically look at them. Instant motivation! It's like a super shot of motivation. Trust me, it works great.

    You'll get there, just keep moving forward, you fall, get back up.

    I LOVE that you are taking control of your life by knowing what you desire and are taking action to achieve those goals.
