I'm Mary. Michael is my husband and my best friend (how convenient to have them both rolled into one person!)

My goal is to get healthy and stay healthy. We have a lot of traveling to do in the future and I want to be able to keep up!

My Goals:
I apologize if some of these goals seem like TMI but I've figured out that putting them "on paper" gives them life and helps me stay accountable
1) Get off my BP medication
2) Get in and out of the shower without hiding my body (in other words...to be where I feel comfortable with my naked body around my husband!
3) wear my lingerie again!



My Program:
45-60 minutes of aerobic activity 5 times a week . Very consistant with this goal!!! I think I'm learning to love exercise. I know, right?

New Goal as of June 20, 2010: In addition to my cardio, I will do at least 10 minutes of exercise EVERY DAY of the week through the month of July! This includes my "off" days. I've found that I feel better when I add something extra to my day. Sparkguy Chris could do it for a year, I can handle one measly month!!

Keep within the suggested calorie range 6 times a week . 6/28/10 -Doing pretty darned well on this one!

Add strength training to workouts at least 2 times a week.
10.24.10 - I've been doing strength training for 3 weeks now!!! 5 or 6 times a week, if you can believe that. Michael helped me come up with an upper body and lower body workout. I alternate them. Each is a 20 minute workout . Heck, 20 minutes is nothin'!! Thanks Michael!
