    I think your comment is quite right. I think we worry far too much about BMI as it has (at least over here) been drummed into us that there is a range that we should be in.

    I am not going to worry about mine anymore and expect my weight to go up. I have an app on my phone that keep bugging me for updates of my BMI, it is going to be deleted.

    You can exercise all you want or do what you like while you are awake. That is not the point. You have no control over the calories that your body burnt while you sleep or are sitting down watching the TV.

    Your body burns calories at rest keeping the body going. If you resting HR is low the number in lower. This is different for everyone. This is also why you need to cut down on the calories in.

    The research gave a ball park of up to 800 calories a day but this could be more or less.
