I am in my Mid 40´s, an event planner. Wife and Mother of 3 teens.

I had been very physically active, in shape and ate very healthy until I had my last child, then I think I felt I had the right to let my guard down and started eating all the junk I had not touched in 18 years!!

As My event planning business grew, the stress became incredible and late nights on the computer working on events, 18 hour event days, and just the stress involved in being my own boss in a competetive industry all took a toll on me. I actually forgot to take care of myself for several years, started to try some strange diets, pills to loose 12 pounds and now I am 45 pounds over weight, out of shape and trying to rebuild me!!

My Hubby is fantastic and does tell me loose weight not for him or for an event yet for myself for life and he will support me in any way to help!! My kid´s have helped me everytime I want to buy a kit kat or M&M´s, slice of Costco pizza, McTrio!! I almost feel like a little kid when my Son tell´s me NO MOM you cannot eat that!!

It finally came to this site thanks to a dear friends refferal who is also struggling with her weight. I found that just saying out loud I have a problem, I need help in a positive form. I can rebuild my body, healthier lifestyle. So, after a few weeks it sunk in. I just finally said it has to be now that I take control!!

I have been seeing a nutritionist for 15 days and have stuck to 97 percent of my meal plans, I joined Gold´s gym and am doing 40 minutes daily cardio. I am being so careful when I consider food now, and my Son actually is reading the labels of the food to see percentage of carbs, sugar, sodium..

I do get little temptations everyday! My house is Junk food free, we cook all the meals, and dinning out has been fine as I have fresh fish and wonderful salad..

So, just a little of who I am and with lot´s of Love and support and on my part Hard work!! I hope to write another story in 6 months!

Fitness Minutes: 25

My Goals:
My goal is to loose 40 plus pounds, to get back into shape, to learn to curb my stress and spend much time with my family in outdoors activities!!

My goal for this month is to walk everyday and daily include some strenthtraining. next Month move back to the gym.

My Program:
My program at this time is walking 45 minutes in the morning at a fast pace. .

Personal Information:
I live by the Ocean and Beautiful tropical mountains. I am a wedding planner as well!
