After many past attempts to lose weight and get healthy, I realized that I have been stuck between the same 50 lbs for over five years. It is time for a change..

I know I have it in me, but it is a mental thing. I have just started to be more comfortable with who I am and I think that is a big part of what will make me successful this time around.

Fitness Minutes: 1,518

My Goals:
I would like to lose 150+ lbs and be healthier overall.

- Run/walk my first 5k May 31st (DONE! 5/31/2014)

- Be under 300 lbs by Christmas 2015 (Reward: trip to the salon!)

- Be under 250 lbs by Spring 2016

- Be under 200 lbs by Fall 2016

-Be between 258-270 lb by early 2017



My Program:
 I am trying to eat more protein and less carbs. (I love bread...). I am allowed one cheat meal/snack each week and one cheat day each month.

As for exercise, I am currently going to a local gym. A lot of my cardio comes from Zumba and Sh'Bam classes.. I LOVE to dance! My goal is 4 days of cardio and 2-3 days of weight training per week.

 I participated in my first 5k in May 2014!! It was sooo fun! I am hoping to do it again in 2016 when I am in better shape.
