Introduction Text Hi! I am a wife and mom... area coordinator with Operation Christmas Child, artist and art teacher, and beloved child of God. Heavenly Father, help me! Help me surrender EVERYTHING to you.... even this. Maybe especially this. Help me to want YOU more... more than anything... even the brownie that calls my name.. even more than the second helpings.. even more than the lazy chair where I have made a habit of being lazy. Help me surrender my pride that says I can do this on my own. Help me to FOLLOW YOU. And THANK YOU.. for the work you are doing in me. That you LOVE ME when I succeed and when I fail. Thank you for redemption. For salvation. For sanctification. I am your temple and You are my king. Help me to make choices that honor You, today. Amen. My goals are simple. To give control of my life over to Jesus, especially in the areas of food and exercise, but also in other areas of sloth. When I reach these goals I know that I will be living a life more pleasing to God and better for my family and community.

I am trying to eat healthy, and lower calorie. I have added in exercise and drinking a lot of water.

I live in Southern Oregon and I am the mother of 2 lovely children. My husband is an engineering professor. I homeschool my son, and have graduated my daughter and she is currently an engineering major at college.

Other than the Bible, my favorite books are Jane Austen, Brandon Sanderson, and a wide range of Christian Lit, fantasy and sci fi, mysteries, and classics. Favorite music is worship music, contemporary christian, oldies, swing, and show tunes.
