I need to lose weight, and I want to reach my goals asap. I'm going to really need to concentrate and stay on track. I have lost weight before, but I tend to get comfortable at a certain weight and quit before reaching my goal. I am once again almost at my highest weight, and I need to gain control over it. I want to be healthy in 2010!

Tips for Success

1) Drink a lot of water and always keep a water bottle with me.

2) Weigh in no more than 1x per/wk.

3) Workout every day for at least 10 minutes; always wearing my HRM!

4) Stop the mindless junk food intake!!! Plan meals I love and stick to them only. 1200-1500 p/day.

5) Blog to vent when frustrated, celebrate achievements, and to create weekly goals.

My name is Idalia, but my nickname is Laly. I'm originally from TX, but I'm living in Albuquerque NM for now. My boyfriend David just recently moved in with me, and we have a yellow lab puppy (Harley), so we're starting to become a family very quickly. As a personal goal, this year we would like to have our own house, and get healthy.
