I'm 61 years old and need to get in shape. I need some motivation, so I thought signing up with spark people would help me.

My Goals:
My goals are try and stay flexible. To keep being able to do kickboxing and other cardio like Jillian Michaels and Cathe Friedrich. As long as I feel good that is what is important. Trying not to get sick w/diabetes.

My Program:
 My program is mostly Walking. I will be adding cardio dvd's. I will be working on stretching and strength too. Using Fitbit for motivation.

Retired January 2014 to Arizona after working with a newspaper for 12 years.

Moved to Buckeye AZ 2014. Small town~loving it!

    Don't give up on the 5k I am sure you can do it, remember how far you have come.

    Knees are a problem but I am glad to say not for me.

    Take it easy and rest when you have to.
