My mom sent me the link to his website at the perfect time. I have yo-yo'ed with my weight for as long as I can remember. The part about weight loss that I always had a handle on was fitness. I love to run and lift weights. The gym is a very happy place for me.I have spent the last year learning how to take care of my body physically. I was able to accomplish many goals for myself. I hold records at the gym for Cross Fit challenges and ran my first 1/2 marathon. :o)

Food on the the other hand, ugh. I either emotionally eat, don't eat at all, become obsessive with my foods and eat the same thing every day, or way over eat. I for some reason can't wrap my head around what to eat or how much to eat.

My goal now is to keep working out and just learn to eat better. I love healthy foods, not I just need a realistic view of what a balanced diet looks like. I am looking to lose some weight, just not much. I more want to learn to make myself all around healthy.


Other fun things about me. I am a teacher. I have a great group of third graders and I love what I do. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family (my boyfriend and cat). I also love to do anything crafty; painting, drawing, sewing, cake decorating, you name it!I Oh, I also love magazines. Silly thing to love but I religiously read them.

My Program:
I work out 6 days a week. I like to take spin classes, use the elliptical machine, and run. I also take a class callef Ulitmate Cross Fit 3 days a week. It mixes cardio with strength training.

Mon: 30 min cardio
60 min UCF

Tues: 90 min cardio

Wed: 30 min cardio
60 min UCT

Thur: 90 min cardio

Fri: 30 min cardio
90 min UCT

Sat: Varies..... sometimes a race, sometimes spin class, sometimes other outdoor fun. :o)

I am also helping a friend's husband get back into running and have a running club at school. This means I can add 1-4 extra 15 minute runs a week.

I am also trying to keep track of my calories 7 days a week. My exception are holidays, anniversaries, and special celebrations.

My calorie goals are between 1400-1700 calories a day. I work out hard and need the calories.

I am a 3rd grade teacher. I live in Northern California. I love to watch trashy TV. My new year's resolution is to do one new thing a week and it has been soooo fun so far. I have been with my boyfriend for 4 1/2 years. I am a virgo.
