I am a married mother of two sweet kids, age 4 and 2. It is time to lose the excess baggage from my last pregnancy. I recently trained and completed my 1st half marathon- the Kansas City Half. I finished under my goal time- 2:28:56.

I work as an RN in a local ICU. I need to focus now on losing at least 25 pounds and lowering my cholesterol. I plan on starting training for another half in the spring, so now is time to get serious!

The only fuel I've used so far is G2 & Twizzlers. So far that seems to be fine. I'm in a rual area, so for stuff like Gu & Honeystingers I'd have to drive an hour.

Thanks so much for your ideas on my blog the other day! I found them really helpful and I just wanted to let you know. :) I contacted a school about a volunteer position, and it looks like it's going to work out. Thanks again!! I'm really excited about getting involved in teaching, even if I can't officially work in a school yet.

Thanks for adding me! I love your page!! So...what keeps you busy during the day? Do you have a favorite workout?
I have a 5yr old that keeps me on my toes….a house to keep up (like all of us woman...LOL), and a full time job as a business analyst. I also own my own fitness business with Beachbody... which is where my heart is!!! I get to help others by sharing with them what has worked for me. I LOVE LOVE their product Shakeology.... It helps boost my energy and lose weight which is GOOD for me :) My passion for life, leading a healthier lifestyle, & thriving to better myself (inside & out) daily has completely changed since I committed to being a fitness coach.
I LOVE to spend my summers outside doing yard work, soaking up the sun, spending time with family & friends, or playing. I really look forward to getting to know each other better - Take care!
Wishing you a fit and healthy day
Have a fabulous fun filled week!!

At least we are both fans of the State of Kansas:) It would be hard to live with a Mizzou fan:) Makes for some fun times at your house I bet!
I actually have started the couch to 5K a couple of different times, but never seem to make it past the 5th week before something happens and I quit exercising all together. Frustrates me to think of where I could be now, if I would just STICK to IT!!! Maybe that should be my motto!! I am starting to see how making little goals and going on streaks can motivate a person to continue doing something each day! It is a process, I keep saying:) Thanks for your advice and let me know if you jump into Turbo Fire. I am doing Turbo Jam now, and am thinking about moving onto Fire once I have lost some weight..it is one of my rewards for down the road:) Also would like to do Chalene Extreme too:)
