    I haven't been to any of the meetings but I would like to go sometime. This past one was on Saturday morning which doesn't work for me. I am going to meet up with some Sparkers at the Diabetes 5K walk in the Woodlands. I know it's hard to lose weight with children that you have to care for but your doing a great job. I have decided that if I want to be there for my children in the future I need to take time for myself now. We can do this!

    I am definitely scared of being flabby even though I am doing the gym. I have about 70 pounds I want to loose to be "satisfied". I gained 50 pounds in about 6 months so I am nervous that because I gained it so fast I will just be flab and loose skin. I find myself most nervous about my arms, I don't want to keep my wings :) Looking at your body instead of the scale is a good tactic. I have never been able to do that. The scale is motivation, I can see that going down more than I see my body changing. I have locked the scale in the trunk of my boyfriends car so I cannot be obsessive about it, haha. It is great that you have started working out because the surgery will help but it doesn't do it all....oh though it would be so easy if it did :) What type of workouts do you do? I find myself sticking with cardio. There is like a sense that a fat person doesn't belong in the weight section, I am trying to get over that. I keep moving to the machines closer to that section and then one day bam I will just be in it. Keep up the great work!

    I saw your post on one of the message boards and was wondering how the gym is going for you? You have been going faithfully so are you still planning lapband surgery? I have been toying with surgery, but I keep deciding otherwise.
