I originally started the SPARK in April 2010 and did really well. In a year I had lost 44 lbs. Then I stopped SPARKING. I have no idea why, I just did. I grew bored, thought I didn't need to count calories anymore, etc. Here I am...back where I started...again. While I love Spark, I need more. I've decided to do Optifast with medical support and group meetings. I feel like I need face to face meetings to keep me honest and I want to work with a dietitian to find what works for me. I've decided to do Optifast with medical support and group meetings. I feel like I need face to face meetings to keep me honest and I want to work with a dietitian to find what works for me. I'm also going to try a personal trainer.
I know I can't be like this anymore. I hate this. I hate how it feels to be this heavy. It makes me sad. It makes me embarrassed and I'm just done with it. No more because I know more and I know better. I need to live like I need to and I will.

- Exercise daily
- 70 oz water daily
- Down 60 lbs. by the end 2014.
- Be honest with what I am eating. Log it everyday.
My Program:
Optifast to jump start my weight loss. Move to a low carb plan.
I am a carbohydrate addict and it is my ultimate downfall. I need to live a low carb lifestyle to become healthier. It's just a fact for me.
Small failures are acceptable as long as I understand why they happened and have a plan to adjust them for success the next time.

My name is Beth, I'm 45 yrs old and I live in northern Illinois with my husband, my son and two dogs. I work, I play and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to travel. Rome is by far one of the most beautiful destinations that I have travelled to. If anyone needs any advice on Rome, I am more than willing to share! 2012 was a wonderful trip to Paris. This year I will visit Seattle for my 10th wedding anniversary.
Other Information:
I'm an artist at heart. I play the violin. It frustrates me and brings me joy at the same time.
