    My christmas was great and my new years pretty quiet but I was sort of recuperating from 4 days with my sisters and friend after wedding dress shopping!!!! I found my dress! I was so happy! But unfortunately basically didn't stop eating from the 21st of december til about the fourth of January haha which explains why I gained 9 lbs :(

    I jumped back on the bandwagon myself today after being lazy and ignoring the fact that i need to keep pushing haha! So 1st day of 30 day shred done and back to tracking my food! I'd like to lose 30 more lbs if it's possible before the wedding!

    I would definitely like to work together again! i could use a fitness buddy and also someone who will kick my butt when I slack off lol

    Sorry i took so long to get back to you! it feels like we've been so busy lately and it's not about to get better which I'm okay with! I too have been checking out the nutritional information from different restaurants we go too. I'm pretty disappointed that even their healthy options are still really high in calories and fat. I was talking to my fiancé about it and how I wished that there were restaurants that were just healthy restaurants besides vegan or vegetarian places. I bet someone would make a killing off it. Imagine going out for a meal that wouldn't kill your diet completely and still tastes amazing.

    I've been checking out a lot of the spark recipes and even started a collection of things I've tried and loved. I really find when I plan my meals with the recipes it's super easy to stay within calories and stay on the low fat side and higher protein side which I am continually trying to do. And I actually feel full and great about myself for having such good days. My biggest problem is staying active. I need to break out the zumba again to switch it up from always just going for walks. it's actually nice here for this week so I'm hoping it'll warm the above ground pool we have so I can get my butt back into it!

    You look like you're doing really well even with the "gained a pound" status. I can't wait to see the 100's but I have so far to go still

    Usually if I go out to a friends house (it doesn't happen often.. we moved to a small town a little bit ago and it's been really hard to make friends here and I'm pretty shy) I'm the same way and just eat whatever and as much of that whatever as I want.. but because it doesn't happen often I call it a cheat day and let it go. It's usually the sodium that gets me. I come home and wonder how I've gained 4 lbs only to wake up the next day or the day after and see the huge drop back to my normal weight again. But as nice as it is to go out once in a while I like being home and tracking everything I eat and being in complete control.

    I've added you as a sparkfriend. I hope that's okay! This way I can see any status updates and cheer you on when you have scale or nonscale accomplishments! Or even if you need a hand when you've been knocked down and are trying to get back up again!

    Happy Monday! My cousin got married on Saturday four hours from here so it was a long weekend away from home for me. It was a nice wedding but so happy to be back home and in control of my own food again.
