Hello, my name is Michelle and I'm on a weight loss journey. I am happily married and have three great kids! I love to read, be outdoors, cook, garden, and scrapbook, pen pal, write fiction, and much more!

When I started my weight loss joureny in August of 2007 I never imagined how many ups and downs I would have. From the start till September of 2010 I lost 56 pounds. I did it by cutting out regular soda, watching what I ate and exercising.

From September of 2010 to June 2012 I had 4 abdominal surgeries. During this time I gained back 29 of the pounds I had lost and also lost a lot of my strength and stamina that I had gained from the exercise. Between surgeries I would lose and gain the same 10 or so pounds and felt very frustrated with weight loss and fitness in general.

On top of my surgeries I found out I have Osteoarthritis in both knees and have a lot of pain from this condition. In March of 2014 I had gained almost all of my original 56 pound weight loss back and was feeling awful not only physically but emotionally due to the gain, pain, and the loss of my Mother to Lung Cancer.

But thanks to the support and motivation of my family and friends and some willpower on my part I am now down 63 pounds and have reached my first biggest goal which I've strived to reach for almost 8 years: I got under the 200 lb mark!!!!

Right now I am sitting at 193 lbs and I don't plan on stopping until I am fit and healthy. I know there will be more ups and downs and more pain but I also know that I can do it. And if I can do it anyone can!!

- To get back down to 220. (REACHED)

-To fit back into my Large size scrubs (REACHED)

-To get back down to 210

-To re-lose all my weight had previously lost. (REACHED)

-To get under 200 pounds

Then back to previous goals:

-To be healthy.

-To be more active.

-To lower my blood pressure.

-To wear a size 10 jeans.

My Program:
-Eating Healthy.

-Working out.

-Being active.

-Playing with my Family.

-Reading about health, weight loss, and fitness.

-Everything in Moderation.

Personal Information:
I'm a proud mom of three kids ages 17, 12, and 10.

Happily married to my best friend Kevin.

I work as a Medical Assistant in a busy Orthopedics office.

We live in Kentucky.

Proud furbaby mom of 2.

I am an avid reader, and will read almost anything but some of my favorites include: Stephen King, Heather Webber, Rachel Caine, Richelle Mead, Dean Koontz, Victoria Laurie, Mary Janice Davidson, Laurell K. Hamilton, Jodi Picoult, Janet Evanovich, Margaret Weis, R.A. Salvatore, Greg Iles, and many many more!!

    Loving the background! Has been eons since I have got to talk to you, babe. Not been sure what to say or how to say it...because honestly I haven't know how much time was "enough time" or how much space was "Enough space" after Aunt Linda. But I don't do silence well for long so I figure I would take the chance and see if now was as good a time as any to try for more time and less space again. :) *HUGS!*

    Boo again. :) Just wanted to let you know that I will be coming into your workplace on December 28th. Apparently, God had other plans that did not include our contraceptives working. I'm pregnant. :)
