The time has come for me to learn some healthy, here I am :)

Fitness Minutes: 9,160

My Goals:
To lose 70 lbs..I haven't weighed in at this weight in over 10 years!!

To lose 90 - 100 lbs..this way I will be within the healthy range for BMI, with a bit to spare...I weighed this amount 20 years ago...funny, then it was a high weight for me...I can do it!! I know I can!!

My Program:
Being very conscientious about recording food in the food helps to keep me on track...
For exercise I am walking and doing the Leslie Sanson walk at home dvd as well...have done the 3 mile so using the belt or the arm really adds to the workout..I have also been doing some sit ups and other stretches and leg excercises.
For now, this seems to be working :)

I have really progressed with my workouts. I do 65 minutes on the treadmill(rolling hills) 4-5 times/week. that's 60 min of walking and 5 minutes of cool down...then another 5 minutes of, I am at level 7 and playing with the speed between 3.5 to 3.7....according to the machine I am burning about 600 calories(with my weight inputted in machine...don't know how accurate this is though)

I tried the walk/run 5km your way...started wk5 and my knees were gonna give out o

Personal Information:
Recently married after being a single mom for 10 3 boys are now 14, 16, and 18...and with marriage added 4 older step children and 8 grand children :)

Hubby joined me on spark on October 23, 2011

My son is working on training for his fitness test for black belt in taekwondo

It seems I am encouraging them both :)

Other Information:
So far this has been really isn't a diet but, rather learning to adopt a healthy lifestyle...I am going to the Dr's soon and will be happy to let her know my secret to my soon success :)
