I am a parent and a professional in a high-stress career. I am also earning my Masters in Public Health on a part time basis. While I can struggle with anxiety, I'm holding it together so far! Like a lot of folks, I'm learning not to turn to food as comfort and instead to incorporate healthy thoughts and habits into my life.

My Goals:
Sure I need to lose weight but my real goal is to be fit! I want to be able to hike and continue my martial arts studies without feeling like I'm going to pass out! I've let my body get progressively worse over the years through inattention and apathy. Now I find I'm encountering problems like pre-diabetes and pre-hypertension, it's time to change.

My Program:
Eating within calorie range and TRACKING IT EVERY DAY. Keeping away from processed foods, very little if any meat at all (flexitarian), avoid saturated fats.

At least 20 mins of cardio EVERY day.

Strength training 3 times a week.

I must not fear.
