Tough to be honest


It's tough to be honest here, because I hide behind defenses of intellectualism. But when it comes to my body, I can't hide anymore. I've been about ten pounds overweight for several years now, since moving away from my dad's healthy home cooking, and while I've made some positive steps (I began working out) I've also made some negative ones (I began drinking). It's tough to be honest here, because I hide behind defenses of intellectualism. But when it comes to my body, I can't hide anymore. I've been about ten pounds overweight for several years now, since moving away from my dad's healthy home cooking, and while I've made some positive steps (I began working out) I've also made some negative ones (I began drinking). While I don't want to give up my love of food, I need to put myself back on the right track and drop a few pounds. Mostly, I just want to start being a little healthier.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to get back into the "healthy" BMI range. I'd also like to come to love the way I look and improve my asthma without medication.

My Program:
 I've begun counting my calories, working out every day, and being a little more forgiving of myself, because I know I'm making positive steps.

    Thank you for your supportive words. It is a comfort to know that you remain a friend. A so called "friend" the co-captain of my team WHAT GETS YOUR GOAT committed mutiny without explanation. I assume it is because she resents my identity as Christian and Gay. She didn't say. I handed the leadership of the team to the former captain. I am going to be withdrawn emotionally for a little while. I appreciate your friendship.
