Introduction Text **Hi... my name is Ray (jukebox2) I'm 55 years old and was 330 pounds. I would like to get to 200 pounds. My arthritis and gout seem to have me in pain most of the time... well, I'm fighting back! I still want a new life, a leaner life, one of well being and fitness... they say it's not too late and I'm going to make it happen. I'll keep postings of my progress as things start happening... The progress is as follows! **At 330 and miserable and tired, in pain all the time. I can't enjoy life this way. **At 305 I join Sparkpeople and find a wonderful network of incredible people who inspire me and keep me motivated. I also enjoy the luxury of having a nutrition chart, a exercise plan, motivational programming and articles and more! Thanks to SPARKPEOPLE I'll be starting some courses in nutrition and exercise at the University... Thank you SPARK! When I reach my goal I'll stay on at SPARKPEOPLE as a consultant and trainer / motivator! **At 293 now and enjoying the extra "spark" **I hit 280 and losing and winning at the same time! **274 and happy... more cardio seems to be the reason for the success along with the exercise and good eating! **269 and getting more exercise! Nothing can stop me now! ** I am the co-leader of Losing and Playing Spark Team! **264 Need new clothing and Uniforms for work! **263 only 1 pound down this time **257 And I like it too! **255 My New picture was taken **252 Losing Weight after gaining 9 pounds for Christmas... Back on Track! **260 Setback with medication and Arthritis cost me some weight but I'm back on track now! **228 WITH A WEIGHT LOSS OF OVER 100 POUNDS!

Through a series of short term goals, with SPARKPEOPLE and the university, I plan to get to 200 pounds as soon as possible! I want to become a personal trainer, Nutritionist and motivator when I hit my goal weight!

Specialized diet more walking, swimming and more sleep. Tracking my nutrition , weight and sleep (Thank God for Spark People!!

My wife and I just retired from the disc jockey business after 27 years! We enjoy music, animals, bbqing. We collect music and videos. I also collect recipes from anyone who would like to contribute!
