The past year and a half of my life has been all about change and starting over.

My journey to better health and a better me started on May 1, 2012. I was upwards of 256 pounds, severely depressed, and my then husband was in the final stages of infidelity and ultimately divorce. It was my lowest low, and I was ready for something better for myself.

Between then and July 2012 I managed to lose about 68 pounds and gain an unbelievable amount of freedom, confidence, self-worth, and ambitions for the future. But as with any journey - I hit a snag! Between August and September of this year, I somehow managed to fall of the wagon and gain 10 pounds back!

So now I'm ready to revamp and make changes all over again in an attempt to meet my lifelong dream of a healthy, worthwhile lifestyle and a body to match. So here I am, trying to keep on keeping on!

My Goals:
1.) Reach 150 pounds. Between 2/1/15 and 2/1/16 lose at least 6 lbs a month.

2.) Adopt permanent healthy lifestyle changes.

Eat 1200-1550 Calories everyday.

Maintaining a diet focused on natural, fresh, and/or non-processed foods.
