At age 40 had a surprise baby! Surprise, here's a whole bunch of extra weight..and its not nearly as easy to take off now as when I was 30.....gained over 50 pounds with the pregnancy and lost 10. After a year, its pretty obvious the weight isn't going to come off just from nursing like after my last 2.

I'm just tired of feeling uncomfortable, and I want the physical, spiritual and psychological benefits of consistent exercise, eating healthy meals, and improved overall health back in my life! Especially since I recently ended the relationship with my daughter's "father".

Fitness Minutes: 369

My Goals:
Goal - Increase muscle mass through strength training 3-5 times per week
Goal - Avhieve goal weight of 140 - 130 lbs, adjust based on muscle mass and measurements.
Goal - Eliminate all simple carbohydrates from diet
Goal - Make water primary beverage with very rare exceptions.


My Program:
Daily - water only to drink; journal progress, feelings, etc.
Weekly - Weigh in, take measurements; Strength training 3-5 times per week; cardio 3 times a week
Monthly - reward with one book or one well-chosen item of clothing if goals are met.



Personal Information:
I have lived in Oklahoma, Ohio, Massachusets, Illinois and currently reside in Wisconsin with my three beautiful children. I am a single-mother of two boys, and a beautiful miracle baby girl, and I work full-time outside the home as an accountant. Hobbies include: reading, nature walks, nutrition, container gardening, genealogy, computers, and playing board games with my kids.
