Having been here on Spark for many years 2020 is the perfect year to get to my goal weight. My motivation is high, but more importantly I have learned how to reinvigorate myself when going through periods of plateaus. Being here on Sparkpeople has given me so many powerful tools and great friends that motivate and inspire me everyday. Thank you Spark Guy for creating this great space for people to dream big and achieve their goals.

Thank you so much for the comment. You have made a very important decision to take control of your life and make a new life change....Dont consider this a diet..its the worse thing to do..think of it as a new way of life and it will be so much easier...It does get better as you move along and yes you will have bad days you will fall off the wagon, you may eat that burger or those cookies..but its okay...we are human and we make mistakes. Pick yourself right up and apply everything you have learned. Posting also helps ..SP is great community and family. If there is anything I can do please feel free to email me. CONGRATS ON YOUR CHOICE FOR A NEW WAY OF LIFE!!

I love your Twain quote! I live by it now... I also adore Helen Keller's “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.” Took me awhile to realize that I could create, meet and greet life....
