That was pretty awesome and random, it was nice to meet you too! I frequent Cargo a lot to get work done, so maybe it might be a regular thing to bump into you. I hope you have a good weekend, stay dry!

Thank you for the lovely orchid. It is good having my cook back home. Twice a day nurses isn't too bad. We are hoping that will only be for a few days and then we can get the stitches out and the drain removed and go back to normal life.
    Happy Easter!

Great--that's what I was hoping to hear!

I joined PF about two years ago but haven't been for over a year. Even in the summer, there's the nagging knowledge that once classes start, I won't be able to keep it up and all my efforts will have been for naught. (It happens every summer--15 pounds off, 2o back on by May.) I want to be on a schedule that includes my workouts, writing time, and time for everything else I have been putting off. And I already had a minor cancer scare three years ago, so you're right, who knows how long we have left?

One of my colleagues retired in her 70s about a year and a half ago. At the time, she was panicked that she would miss the students and not know what to do with her time. That didn't happen! I really don't know anyone who has retired who misses working. That might be more of a man thing, perhaps.
