I am a healthy almost 30-something woman who found a love for running in 2010 and a stronger determination to tone up. I ran my first 5k in May and my second in October of 2010 and I'm planning 2 more for the first half of 2011 (one hopefully in Colorado when I go out to visit this summer).

I cook healthy and love trying new clean, dairy free and on occasion raw foods. I plan my meals weekly and workout 6 days a week in the morning so my work schedule doesn't determine when I can.

I began blogging on SP to keep track of a 119 day challenge I started with a friend. Our goal is to tone up and lose unnecessary pounds of fat by my 30th birthday in April of 2011. So far it's been a tough challenge and even though the scale hasn't bugged much (6-lbs) it's been worth every effort I've put into it because I love the results I am seeing.

Hi, I'm Jessa. I moved back to the East Coast as of January 23rd, 2010 after 7 awesome years living in Colorado. I'm missing my friends, easy access to healthy grocers and restaurants and the dry air, but I'm slowly transitioning and finding creative ways to eat healthy and thankful to be where I am kicking my butt into shape.
