Where to start? I've battled weight most of my life. In middle school I knew I was bigger but was in denial. By high school I couldn't keep telling myself that I was just normal..well normal in that I was overweight, but those skinny little girls it wasn't like they were unhealthy either. Due to some medical problems I lost 50 lbs before heading off to college. When I returned back people started asking my parents or suggesting that I should get checked for an eating disorder. Two years later I started gaining the weight due to unhealthy eating habits and a lack of exercise.

I started Sparkpeople back in 10/08. I had just gotten back from my honeymoon in Hawaii and I was devastated at how I looked in some of my pictures. I was working out six days a week and REALLY losing the inches and weight. I thought I could do the weight loss on my own and stopped using SP. I went out on my own and then life got in the way and I went back up to my old weight, and then some!

So now I'm back. Maybe not every day because life is still in the way. But I'm making an attempt to work out daily and blog about my success and failure with my weight loss.

I'm trying to stay positive and keep going.

***Update 03/08/11***

I'm back again. I've been on the site now for two months getting back on track with the healthy eating and exercise. I'm currently working out 4-5 days a week for at least 35 minutes each. I am really starting to feel better about myself and how I look.

Cutting back on eating out and fast food. Making smarter decisions when I do.

Drinking 8 glasses of water a day plus!

Working out for at least 35 minutes 4-6 times a week.
