A Lifetime Fitness Journey
I started with SparkPeople about a year ago, but my fitness journey first started the summer between 7th and 8th grade. That was the year after the 'cutest' boy in the class walked up to me and poked me in the stomach and said, "It's just like jello. I'm going to call you jello from now on." And, he did.

From that point until today each day has been a part of my walk down the path of health and wellness or a side trail of less-than-healthy living. It's been a journey with highs and lows for over 25 years now and continues. I have had great successes with weight loss only to re-gain slowly and then lose again. Sigh.
I have always enjoyed different types of exercise and physical activities, but unfortunately, I also enjoy lots of different types of food too! (Including the ones that are not as healthy.) So - how to have the right balance so I can get to and continually maintain my goal weight range.
This last year and a half has been challenging for weight maintanence. Currently I would like to loose about 10 lbs. to reach my goal weight. It's the weight that I feel the best and most healthy.
