I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Love the pool! I’ll have to take it easy; the steps are steeper than my knees would like, and I burn if I’m in the sun too long.

Funny, we all have our things. I like canned smoked oysters, but won’t eat them any other way. My mom and daughter neither one ate salmon on their Alaska trips. My sister and I both love spinach, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts while our parents couldn’t stand them—but they both ate cabbage. Figure!

I we are still having poor air quality and grey but sunny skies. The smoke from the California fires. Hopefully they will get rain enough to help firefighters get them knocked down .
    Have a good day.

I'm only saying the guidelines have changed and these days most doctors think that taking antibiotics before dental work is not effective, not after the first year or two after surgery. I have two artificial hips myself so I don't take the advise lightly.

Thanks for the blog love about the Halloween/Fall masks. It's always fun to see what fabric is out there. So true about the candy corn - never let it in the house!
