I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Harry was not allowed in the shop today. The Culinary Students brought triple-chocolate layered tortes and if he got into the bakery case again it would have been chocolate all over!

My sister did home health care, and like you, jewelry was out. She had a pretty bracelet too, but never wore it like my mom and I did. The one that was my mom’s has NC flowers, leaves, and a feather. I call my MIL’ s bracelet Faith and Family since that’s what she had on it. She wasn’t much into jewelry either, but my FIL gave it to her so she wore it sometimes. My Christmas one was fun. I picked out the charms at a craft fair, and mom and I went out for lunch while it was assembled. Now my full bracelet, my parents gave it to me with two charms for starters, and I felt very grown up wearing it. You’re right, lots of stories there. I have the Eiffel Tower in memory of being driven past it and around the Arch of Triumph in Paris. French drivers are absolutely intrepid, or is that absolutely crazy? Cars and buses cutting in all around, driving on the sidewalk, yikes! It was like being on a really scary roller coaster!

Lol, sometimes your body and brain decide for you to take an afternoon off. I’ve done half of my loose ends MISSIONS; I’m on a roll.

Thanks for the blog love about Harry. He looks a little rakish with the hair over his eye! He is very little - 6" tall (without his hat). He is a tube with two huge washers on top of 1" of stuffing in the bottom. Then he was stuffed very tight and sewn shut at the top.

Never worry about commenting. I enjoy your writing and hearing about all your animals. I hope you can lick the knee problem and any lingering covid tiredness.
