May 6, 2017 Hi Guys, As an update to the profile. Since I started I have now lost 18 kilos in total roughly 40 lbs. the suits that I was trying to fit in are lose now. Still struggling with subcutaneous fat. Any ideas on how to melt it? Below dated August 25, 2015, read please Hi, I i originally joined this website in 2007 and by using spark people lost more than 20 kilos (44 lb) Kept it off until last year when my youngest son was diagnosed with the same disease that claimed my oldest son at age 5 many years ago. I was so depressed that I gained 15 kilos in one month. Simply stayed in bed for a month using up all vacation and sick days I had. I am now trying to put my life back together and trying to get healthier for my kids who still need me. With recent weight gain I am a diagnosed diabetic. A disease to which my father lost both his feet. Woke me up pretty good. With a new motivation and added challenge of diabeties I am looking to lose the weight. This time going to 62.5 recommended by my BMI calculator. My motivation is that I need to fit back in my suits. I did it once and I want to see if I have it in me to do it again.
