    Hey Brenda. Hope all is going well with you. Keep up the good work. I haven't exercised since December. Got to get back on it. Hurt my back and had some knee issues, but I think I'm about over it. So, I'm going to go back to aerobics and start walking my treadmill again. You have a great week!

    You can get the protein you need from beans and nuts and that's a lot of what sparkpeople menus suggest. I cannot, however, because I need low phosphorous foods because of my kidney failure. I can eat a little of the beans (nuts are dangerous for me because of diverticulitis) but just a really small serving. I like to because you get less fat, less cholesterol and more fiber though. It's a good balancing tool. Occasionally I'd eat beef though just to be sure I got a good dose of easily accessible protein and iron. emoticon
