Middle middle-age, and time to lose the stubborn 30 lbs. No rush, just working away at it.

My Goals:
I believe in small goals...leading to changes in habits...that I can keep up for the rest of my life. I've been 30-40 heavier than is good for me ever since the children were born...and they are in college! It's been there a long time, it will take a while to take it off...so a few pounds at a time....and healthier eating along the way.
My Program:
Tracking what I eat seems to help me...otherwise I don't realize just how many calories are in what I eat. I'm going back to the gym 2 days/week at first, then 3 days, later. And walking every day, now that the snow is starting to melt.
Personal Information:
Very middle middle in the midwest. Working most of the year, 2 kids in college, elderly mother visits every summer. Nothing much interesting.
Other Information:
Love classical music and wish I took more time to work on photography.
