    Thanks Paula for commenting on my status. My husb is on LinkedIn already but his specialized job in Human Resources (handling salaries and bonuses) is really not doing well. He may have to look into doing a new career. Lots of luck with all your new year resolutions if you have them!

    Saw your cry for help on another blog where you posted a comment... exercise doesn't have to mean going to a gym and sweating... it can be ANYTHING you can handle and yes, at first it still probably will suck some. But just walking while listening to good music works well. Maybe make little goals for yourself using a pedometer and then when you reach milestones you can upgrade to a nicer pedometer or some other type of tracking watch (the GPS ones are pricey but do cool things). A food scale is a great idea -- and a good way to start really tracking well. If you are just now getting back on the horse, just start with tracking what you are eating -- no restrictions per se -- just track it all. Anyway -- I am sure you have heard this all before. I really DO remember how annoyed I was at the beginning... it was boring to eat right and I was sore trying to work out and I saw no results for awhile. I never managed to lose more then 1 pound per week... but hey -- many weeks later (like 40 or more!) I am down 35 pounds. It now looks more significant, clothes are falling off of me, I can wear new things... but it was and still is a SLOW process. I often think, if I had done nothing in these past 40 weeks, I would probably be a tad heavier and would still have all this work to do and be almost another year older. Anyway -- I am rambling. I hope you are back on track already!!
