My Plan:
-to eat a mostly unprocessed whole food diet cooked at home
-to consume a raw meal (juice, smoothie, or salad) everyday
-to complete 1 PLANNED physical activity every day

New Habits to be Learned:
-cooking consistently
-meal planning
-time management

My Mental Focus:
-Seek the Lord in all I do.
-Praise and Worship the Lord through becoming a better steward to my earthly body, my soul, and the people and things God has entrusted me to journey with.
-"Just do one thing healthier today, than the last, everyday, even if it's one lettuce leaf more a day. By the end of your journey, you will have an entire head of lettuce in your bowl." ;)

My Goals:
SHORT TERM:
-lose 25 lbs by 12/31/19 by eating a clean whole food (no processed) diet and starting, as well as maintaining, a daily exercise/physically active lifestyle
-to prepare 90% of our meals at home with whole foods by meal planning, maintaining accurate food inventory, and continuing to utilize our vegetable garden and farmer's markets (full conversion to 90% to be accomplished by 9/1/19)
LONG TERM:
-get my BMI below 22.5
-to become physically fit enough to take jujitsu or mixed martial arts
-to wake up refreshed and have enough energy (with no caffeine or sugar boosts) for the entire day


My Program:
-eat 2 to 3 whole food meals a day accompanied by 1 raw meal (juice, smoothie, salad)
-weekly meal planning
-daily walks, stretching activities, and chasing after my little one
-weekly cardio and strength training



Personal Information:
I'm 35, married with a wonderful 5 year old boy. I am passionate about the nutrients in our food as well as the quality of our foods. I have started gardening and currently have a thriving veggie garden. We have 2 cats: Beta and Bacchus. I have recently converted to Christianity (Feb 2018) from atheism (15 years) and have discovered a passion for reading/studying the Word of God and walking with the Lord.


Other Information:
I am a novice gardener and book/audio book aficionado. I do still enjoy the occasional video game when life permits. I LOVE to crochet and an added benefit to this hobby is that it keeps my hands busy meaning no eating. ;)
