One Day At A Time
Hi guys!
In 2005, I injured my back, and two years later finally had surgery. During that time, I was pretty inactive due to the intense pain and gained a lot of weight. Most of my back pain is now gone, but I still deal with arthritis from time to time.

Hi guys!
In 2005, I injured my back, and two years later finally had surgery. During that time, I was pretty inactive due to the intense pain and gained a lot of weight. Most of my back pain is now gone, but I still deal with arthritis from time to time.
When I started SP in Sept 2010, my goal was to lose 83 pounds by June 2011. It was hampered by what my doctors and I thought was a meniscus tear in my right knee. Instead, we found out that I am really suffering from the beginning of osteoarthritis (Genetic). Quite concerned about this, I've decided to be very proactive in order to slow the progress of OA down. Since, I've really tried not to get down on myself if I don't lose the weight as fast as everyone else. Slow and steady wins the race.
In May 2012, I finished massage therapy school. I love it. It takes a lot of stamina and hard work to do full body massages, and I find myself continuing to focus on losing weight and be healthy so I can do a good job at something I love. Massage therapy school really helped me focus on my health.
In August 2013, I went back to school for Health Information Management and Medical Coding. It was one of the most homework intensive courses at the school-absolutely insane! I worked two jobs in between classes and homework, and although I was not on here much, I was still working at it.
I have managed to gain some of my weight loss back, due to high stress, no sleep, and bad eating though all of that. I didn't gain it all back, but more than I should have, so now I am getting back into the swing of things.
That's me, basically. I hope you enjoy my page!

My Goals:
My goal weight is currently 150. Once I hit that weight, I plan on deciding what my next goal should be, or if I should maintain.

My Program:
I am exercising 7 days a week. I walk on the treadmill or use the rowing machine at home. I also enjoy working out to the Beachbody DVDs like T25 and TurboFire.
Mainly, I just work my butt off, even when the scale doesn't go down as fast as I like. I'd rather lose it slow and steady than gain it all back right away.

I live in Minnesota.
