    emoticon to Spark People!
It is emoticon that you are reaching out on the message boards right away. I would suggest that you use all the tools available to you on this website. I have taken off close to 40 pounds by engaging in teams, challenges, and tracking. I have tracked nutrition, fitness, steps, water consumption, and fruit/veggies,
Tracking and challenges help me to stay on track. being involved on teams keeps me motivated and accountable. One of the cheapest forms of cardio exercise is walking and running...all it takes is a good pair of shoes. Two of my favorite teams are Just Do It! and Accountability and Determination. Both are active with great leadership.
I have found that determination + accountability=consistency. I was pleased to discover that I had learned enough from my involvement with SP that when I went on hiatus for a few months Ito allow my psychological and spiritual sides to catch up with all the physical changes I had experienced, I was able to maintain my weight the entire time!
MAKE YOUR JOURNEY TO HEALTH AND FITNESS A PRIORITY, AND MAKE EVERY STEP COUNT!!! Even steps to the side and steps back have a purpose in the journey.
Avoid the emoticon of tyranny of the scale. Take note of non-scale victories along the way...Notice times that you choose water over soda, when you make a healthy choice for a snack, when walking farther is easier. Don't get so caught up in the numbers....Remember, each right step will bear fruit in the end.
Perhaps most importantly, Enjoy the Journey! emoticon emoticon emoticon
