Introduction Text

My main goal is to change my eating habits and make better choices. To drink more water. To eat more fruits, veggies, and REAL God Given foods. To MOVE purposely, not just because I need to get from one place to another, but to help my body feel better!!

I will eat better and track my meals. I will drink and track water. I will move and track my fitness minutes. I will help my children and husband understand the impact of the foods they eat.

I am a 40 year old yo-yo dieter, although since the last yo I've kept going in that direction...imagine floating off the moon out into space and not being able to get back to the surface. My immediate family consists of my sweet husband Jon, Jacob (12), Daniel (10), Scurry, a sweetie guinea pig and the one other female in the house, my cat Rosie!

I am a semi-professional flutist and music teacher. I have played the flute for 29 years and now teach others and play around town. I also teach general music to grades K-6 at my boys' school.
