SP has been a wonderful help to me with the support from others and being able to track my calories (something I swore I would never do!). I never thought I would have to lose 20 pounds especially when I work out so much.
We are a very active family -- my husband of 25 years and my twin 18 year old boys race on a bike team; I like to bike long distances (off road) whenever possible.
As a fitness instructor, I work out an enormous amount which keeps me fit but also ...

We are a very active family -- my husband of 25 years and my twin 18 year old boys race on a bike team; I like to bike long distances (off road) whenever possible.
As a fitness instructor, I work out an enormous amount which keeps me fit but also makes me very hungry! I am 52 years old and my participants like me because I am "real" and have issues just like anyone else. I love my job and hope to be able to do it for a long time to come.
I found out that I have two herniated discs which means I am in constant pain and can no longer run. However, I have walked one 1/2 marathon and am training for two more plus undergoing treatments for my back.
I'm a knitter (not very good but enthusiastic!) and I love to read. I have a large group of friends that we love to socialize with.
