PUDLECRAZY
I teach a 4th - 6th grade class and I teach almost everything; reading, math, writing, social studies, PE, music, drama, conflict resolution, research skills, personal reflection, investigation. and so on. There is an art and science teacher at our school, so even though I love art and science, I let him teach those subjects so I have time to cover my curricular areas. 3601 days ago

Thanks for friending me! I think you will be very happy if you learn to play guitar. I didn't pick it up until I was 55 years old and I wonder why I waited so long! I am learning to play ukulele this year so I can teach it in school next year. The schools are doing away with 4th and 5th grade band and orchestra, so I am planning to teach my students recorder for woodwinds and uke for strings, while teaching them music theory. I bought 10 ukes, each a different color for next year; I can teach half of my class at a time with those and I have enough recorders for everyone. 3601 days ago

Are you going to Tan-Tar-A this week? We have two girls in All-State choir, a soprano and an alto, and 1 guy in All-State band (2nd chair bassoon). Looking forward to spending time with friends and meeting some new ones. Always a good time at MMEA!! 3733 days ago

Hi! I just noticed we are on two of the same SP teams: Music Makers and Missourians! I live in the KC area, north of the river and am the accompanist at one of the high schools. We are gearing up for NWMSU Show Choir Competition in two weeks, and then district and state contests in March and April.
