Introduction Text August 3, 2015 I cannot remember a time where I was not big. I have been big since a little girl. I do remember all the mean and hurtfully word that other kids would say about me. I wish that there was something like this when I was growing up. I think I have tried every diet out there. I would lost some weight but it would come back plus more. But when I was look online about three years ago I was look for a place to help me lose weight that I would not have to spend a lot of money and found Spark People and started track my food. But at that point I did not put everything into. Then in April 2015 one of my friends become a health coach with Take Shape For Life and I started working with her on the program and still doing that program along with the Spark program and they are both working for me. I think I was at a point in my life that when I look at lossing weight God was with me and showed me the way. I have lost 60+ lbs as of today and still working to lose 50 more pound. I have come to realize that I will have hanging skin because of my age. I will have to live with it or start putting money back and save to have it removed. I will have to add more activety to my work at that will help with it, but I know that it will not take care of all of it. I love the way I feel and when I do have those weeks that I gain lbs and step back and look at what I ate and change it for the better and I will lose what I gained plus more. I will not let it get me down because we are not prefect only God and his son Jesus is. I realize that if I wanted to see my kids meet all there goals in life I needed to get healthy. I do not say it is a diet any longer that is one think I learned. Because it is not a diet it is a life change or healthy living. That is how I look at it. Because I do not like the word diet and the way it made me feel when I was on it because it was like taking something from. When I getting to wantind something to eat I will eat a little so that I will not eat a lot of. I have learned that it is the size that you eating so I just cut back on my service sizes when I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have learned to eat health snacks also. I am hoping that my kids will see the change in me and want to feel the same way and be health also. I found out that I have to show them the postive side of getting healthy. I also have to show that vegies are good for you and they will fill you up also and that having alot of junk food is not good for their health. They is still work in progress. I think if everyone in the USA would show healthy eating and reach their hand out to a child that is over weight we could in prove the life of everyone. But there has to be more people out that want to help that child and not stand on the side line. We need to step in and tell other kids as will as adult not to make fun of them, because they are part of the problem. There should be more help in the schools for child to go to and learn and just not being told about. I think if they learned about they can see it better. So we need to have a group for them to join with other kids so that they could talk to each other. It brings in the adult to start the group and be there to answer things that come in the talks. Because it is so hard to grow being over weight and other kids that are not thinks and telling them it is easy to loss that weight. Because we all know that is not true. If more of us that have lost weigh at the age we are at know about the skin and if we could help just one child and let know that they might not have worry about their skin at a age as we do they just might look at it different also. And we would also help them save their life and live longer with out health issues. So I am looking into that in my area that I live it also. I got tried of seeing numbers on the scale and it was in April 2015 that something clicked and I lost weight. Something inside me told me this is the time Ella to get health. Time to show your kids how strong you are. Time let the numbers go down and not up. Time to learn when the numbers go you know what to do to make them go down. Time to start eating healthy and feel good about yourself. It was just time. Hope when you read this you will see just like I did that it is time to get healthy. God bless and have a great day. July 23, 2015 I have not be on here lately but I want to come back. As of July 22, 2015 I have lost a total of 55 lbs and I feel great. I am now under 200 lbs and weight less now then I did in high school. Some people might say that is not great, but for me it is. Those people do not know how big people feel when that get to that point, but it feels great. I have proved to myself that I can do this by keep track of what I eat on Spark and just to get up and move even if it is just to walk. I have stopped drinking soda's this will be my 4th year of that. I find that I got help from a friend because she become my health coach and showed me medifast which jump started me. But I am now back to eating regular food and still losing weight. I also find myself not wanting fried food so much anymore in fact it made me sick when I do eat it now. If I can lose weight anyone can because I love food, but I do not let food run my life anymore. So for everyone we can do this. June 11, 2015 I guess it is about time to update my info here. I am 45 with 3 kids, and 3 step kids. I have be big all my life and I wanted to get health and get off all my meds. My teenage daughter is big and I want her to know that I can lose weight then she can. Will I mean if I can then anyone can, because I had failed at it so many times before. I like Spark People and I helped her to go to Spark Teen.. I also do not want my little boy to be big and show him the health ways to eat also. Spark People has helped me alot, but I also add Medifast to my program. Since add Medifast I have lost a total of 45 lbs and still going. At work that start the Biggest Loser Contest and that also help kick start me. So far I am winning the contest we have two more weeks to go. On top of that I also started one at home. I can now get into a size 16 jeans from 24 jeans and it is a great feeling. I can remember growing up and how people at school would make fun of me. I talk to my kids and I tell them I do not want them to go thru what I did. I grow up in a small town where if you blinked you would miss it. I know my kids are growing up in a city and that people look at you differant now, but still there are some people do not. I know people look at our family funning when we go out because we are all big. I want my kids to have a better chance in life then I did growing up. I want to be here to see my kids make it in life and become what that what to become. I very proud of my kids and I know they will go far. But I always tell them that there are still those people out there and that we have to be the bigger person then them and show everyone with respected even when you know they do not need it. It is Gods place to judge them not us and when we standed before God we can tell him that we did not judge them like they are so many people, because it is not only us they are judging but everyone they come in contact with. I tell my kids it comes a time in your life that you must take a stands for yourself and your health and I think I have done that. I also ask do you want to take shot for you sugar like me, because I hate and i am taking a stand to over come that and to be healthy for myself and them. THANK YOU GOD for all you have shown me. And thank you Spark People with all the people you have help come in contact with and the help also. I'm 43 with 3 kids I what to lose weight to be here for my kids. I have been big all my life. I have lost weight but have gained it back, but for some reason I just can't get back in there to lose weight. I found this web site hope I could find people to encorage me to lose weight and to start eating right. Just not for me but for my kids. And I want my 12 year old and 4 year old to start eating right too. Sometime I just need someone to talk to when I want to eat wrong. So today is April 26, 2012 and it is time to get started. July 17, 2014: I have just come back to SparkPeople since I last posted. I was having alot issues, but now I am ready to do this. I need to lose my weight because of my health and my kids. I would love to be around a long time to see my kids do what they are dreaming of do in their lives. I want to show my kids that by eating healthy will been the best thing they can do for their life. And I do not want them to go thur things that I have been thur. I love my kids and would like to be there for them and every way. My 14 year daughter is over weight and I have started a Sparkteen page for her too. I want her to lose weight with me so that we both can be healthy. My 6 year son is not over weight and I do not want him to become that way. So want to show them that we can be healthy together. I know this is goint to be a hard road for me. I did to get my blood sugar uncontrol as well. I anyone has any advise for me I would love to hear from me. I will also like to have alot of people standing behind me and to be there is I need advice or chart with too. I have trouble with over eating when I am sad, mad, and when it is around the time my mom and dad past away. Thanky you for reading what I have to post.

I would like to continue to loss about 3 to 4 lbs a week. I would like to work out more then just walking. I would like to loss weight to be healthy. I would like to loss 10 pounds a month to start off with, but to be real I would 7 to 8 pounds.
