Hi everyone, I'm starting afresh with the knowledge that I actually know how to do this weight loss and live a healthy life thing but just need to actually believe in myself and do it.

What works for me is 3 healthy appealing and structured meals every day without any overeating or massive dieting..and a happy, healthy environment in which I am setting and achieving goals every day.

I have 30 lbs to lose I will be soooo happy when I achieve this - but this isn't the be-all end all. I want to stay away from making just my weight my focus which I have done in the past and make living a healthy well rounded life my goal so that the weight just falls off.

To that end I want to set daily life, career and family goals along with healthy cooking ideas..planning out those 3 meals.

I also want to get into enjoyable workout mode so that I'm incorporating fun exercise into my daily life without turning into a gym rat (have done that in the past -- did not work for me..and just made me feel like a hamster on a never ending treadmill!) So the workout goal is go for workouts that are fun.

I'm looking forward to really utilizing sparkpeople and learning from everyone here while taking advantage of those resources!

My Goals:
Healthy 3 structured meals a day.

Minimum: 3 fun planned workouts per week.

Increased amount of activity in daily life.

Structured daily life goals that I list out and accomplish.

Focus on a full, happy, contented life with health just part of it.

Get completely comfortable in my own skin and happy with my body image.

My Program:
Eating a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with minimal snacking.

1 piece of fruit a day.

Gym classes and walks and dancing to music.

Love fashion although I'm not the most fashionable (yet!)..

Love music and dance of all sorts..

Am a slight bookworm..have been a self help book nut but am now getting back into fiction.

I love chocolate..the good kind. Dark chocolate mousse is my favorite dessert.
